The most important issue you must ask yourself is does it spark a passion in you and will you enjoy it! When I was researching my candle company I came across a Work at Home forum. There were lots of candle company's on the forum, including the one I was researching. Everyone on the forum was very nice and helpful and they helped me with any questions I had. Now that I am a consultant I am a regular at the forum and I still ask a lot of questions. My advice to you is to do the same- there are tons of WAH forums. The people on the forums are really working at home whether its a business or a job. They can usually tell you if something is a scam or if it is a real opportunity. If you are looking to start your own WAH business than you should try and find something that you already enjoy. I love decorating and smelly stuff, plus I have young children and I had a house fire when I was little so my wickless candle company was the perfect fit for me. It's a lot easier selling something that you believe in!

Great question and I have an answer for you:





A few things:


1. Don't believe anything on the internet that says you can make money at home if you can't try it for free.


2. Don't offer to pull out a credit card for a company or business you can't do a search on Yahoo and find out some info first


3. Don't try any business you can't actually find anyone who has been successful at it.

Typically with a work at home business you will need to put in an initial investment to start and then you will most likely have to keep putting in of your own money to keep your business going, just like any other business you might start.
