Are there any legitimate business opportunities out there that really work?
shoestring biz: maid service, childcare, petcare, poop scoop, garden care, courier service, any service biz that you're talented at and ebay.
Reply:I not speak english...Yahoo is crazy!!
Reply:restaurant franchises.

there are many legitimate franchises.

if you see it on the street (sonic or mcdonald's) then it's probably legit.

if it sounds too good to be true then it is.

why don't you start your own business...

landscaping, cleaning houses, medical transcription, whatever you know how to do.

there are legitimate business opportunities, but they are usually a LOT OF WORK and many of them require a lot of selling.

Most of them are scams.

The info that really works is: start your own enterprise which is really really hard or

get a regular job so you can finance starting a business on the side - doing taxes or making websites or....

there's no free lunch or easy jobs that make a lot of money.

even real estate and flipping houses is a lot of work and requires capital.
Reply:When you ask this kind of questions, people will tell you something like that "sure ... check this website ... I make $2000/month with this system" ... and they give you their affiliate link. Actually, you will never know for sure what's work or not. Everybody seems to know the secret to make you rich ... but the secret is that you have to do some soul searching to know what you really want and then take action. You may fail several times ... with your patience, perseverance, persistence, you will find your niche. It will not happen overnight but it will happen if you have faith and you invest a fair amount of time in it. You will make it if you believe that you will!
Reply:I suggest an internet business is a way to create another income stream because:

1. Require small to zero capital

2. Get started right away

3. Work from home or anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection

4. Has unlimited potential to earn money

5. No age requirements

What you need to do is to learn about the internet business as much as possible to discover whether it is for you and what your strategy is. There is free information around.

Good luck.
Reply:Hi.If you are a regular user of the internet, you would have heard about the concept of home working. This is an exiting one as you can earn money while at home and it is indeed true! Even if you do not know much about the computers and know only the basics you can still do a lot of jobs.

or email me and i will guide you to it and answer all your questions about the business.
Reply:I do affiliate marketing online. I've been doing it for a year and I'm getting ready to quit my regular job, as I am now making over $10k per month. However, it takes dedicated, persistent work, at least a few thousand of initial working capital, decent organizational skills, and a healthy dose of motivation, but you can make a living at it if you stick with it.

But that is a business.

Starting a business requires a lot of work and dedication. You cannot start a business this week and expect to be earning a good profit next week.

Employees tend to have a "job" mindset whereby they worked this week, so they expect to see results this week (i.e. a paycheck this week).

In business, you don't see results like that. Take, for instance, starting a new restaurant. You'll first have to choose a location. The most successful restaurants have their own location, with their own parking lots.

If you wanted to open a restaurant like that, you'd spend a couple of months looking for the right location. Then you'd spend thousands of dollars for an architect to help design the plans with you. Then you'd spend thousands of dollars getting your plans approved by the local authorities.

And then, after all that, you'd be approved to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on hiring a firm to actually build your building. And after that, you'd spend tens of thousands of dollars to install the interior decorations.

And then you'd spend thousands of dollars hiring employees and training them, as well as having them prepare for the grand opening.

And then, after over a year and spending over a half million dollars, you'd be ready to open the doors and start earning your first dollar.

I say this to illustrate my point: businesses take time and money up front to develop. In the longer period of time, this time and money invested up front will pay off.

But businesses take time to develop!

It is not like being an employee where you get instant results, meaning work this week, get paid this week.

Business is not like that. Know beforehand what to expect so that you don't face disappointment and quit later on.

I wish you much business success, if you choose to go that route.
