The business opportunity is direct sales. So I would ask women for an invitation to come into their home and do customized fittings (with their tops on), and get them into the right bra and right size (80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra). The host would get a percentage of $ in return.
We all are problably pretty tired of "sales parties", but these bras truely the most comfortable and most flatter I've every experienced.
I need your help. I am in need of your opinion:
Yes or no you would pay $60 for this bra?
Yes or no you would host bra party?
Ladies, I am looking at a new business opportunity. Would you pay $60 for an amazing bra or host a bra party?
If I found a bra that made my boobs feel like they were floating on air, sure I'd pay 60 bucks. The idea for a bra party sounds like of fun - I can almost guarantee I wear the wrong size bra b/c I'm never comfortable. It really doesn't matter what size I try on - nothing seems to fit right.
P.S. - Bubbles - I'm with you. V.S. bras ARE a size too small...it's common knowledge.
Reply:I cant stand these types of parties. I never attend them and would NEVER host one myself. The fact that a "friend" invites you to one of these, in hopes that you buy something so she can share in the profit is so incredibly rude. Ick... never.
Unless it was a brand I knew and trusted I would not pay 60 bucks for a bra.
EDIT::Actually bubbles... At Victorias Secret I wear a 32A and in every other brand I wear a B. So may be it's different for other sizes, but I actually wear a smaller size there. Weird. (I shop for bras there once or twice a year for the Semi-annual sale only. I can't afford $50 bras unless their 50-75% off.)
Reply:no and no way
Reply:No, and No
Reply:Normally, no. I'd never spend that much on a regular bra. But I am a very tough to fit size, and have spent my entire life wearing ill-fitting bras. I might spend that much on a bra that truly is custom made. Maybe...its still pricey.
But why wait for this direct sales opportunity? First, you can't properly measure with the clothes on, so the bras wouldn't fit exactly anyway. Just open an Ebay Store, provide specific instructions on how to measure, and sell them there.
Reply:I probably would host a bra party but never pay $60 for bra the most me and friends would pay is more like $35- $40 but good luck
Reply:depends do you have DDD if so sure why not but some people may think it is a little expensive
Reply:I won't pay $60 dollars for a bra that everyone has put their dirty hands on. Gross.
I only buy bras in Victoria's Secret and La Perla.
I hate cheap bras that are marked up 600% and made in sweatshops in China.
Thanks but no thanks.
PS/ People that look for "comfort" on a bra, do not pay $60 dollars for it. Hello??????
Reply:I don't think I'd host a bra party. I don't know about attending one. I would pay that much for a bra...I do already...
Reply:I would pay that yes, but I am so bored of those type of parties, people feel under pressure to buy and I get embarrassed asking friends to come over so they can spend money. I would not host a party, no.
Reply:YES, I am a 36 D or sometimes DD and it's really hard to find bras that fit well. Victoria Secret and places like that make crappy bra that are too small so that way you can pretend your a B even though your an AA. I struggle to find bras because if you need a D or DD they always have like a 40-44 inch waist on them.
I can only buy bra's at Maiden Form and their bras are still so-so, I would def pay that for a good bra that was comfortable and supported me.
Reply:Nope - too much
Reply:It's a good idea. It's so hard to find a bra that fits properly.
So yes, I would pay $60.
And no, I would not host a party right now. My house is a construction zone at the moment, LOL.
Reply:No. No. I hate sales parties and would never pay that much for a bra.
Reply:some women may be uncomfortable having a bra party, but if you find the right group you can do well. $60 is a bit much, but for a good bra it may be worth it. goodluck!
Reply:Since I wear a 36A and can find adorable, comfortable bras at Target for $12 and Victoria's Secret for $10 no I would not pay $60 for a bra.
As for attending a bra party, no thanks, if I want to watch other women get their hooters measured I can hang out in Victoria's Secret for an hour.
Reply:I think going to any type of party for women is fun, just because interaction with other women is fun. I might pay 60.00 for the bra, what would it be like? Victoria's Secret charges that much for some bras, but they have special features.
Strapless/backless/adjustable cups/Adjustable front and back clasps are just some suggestions that might make the bra more desirable.
Reply:I definitely wouldn't pay $60 for a bra. And any good department store will measure you for the right bra fit without the added awkwardness of having all of your friends there while your boobs are being measured.
Reply:Since I am top heavy and not nearly as uplifted as I would like to be, if the bra was comfortable(I basically think they are torture devices), fit very well, had great support and was of good quality I would pay that much for a bra. I'm not sure however that I would want to host a party as I know most of my friends and family would not pay that much.
Reply:60$ thats a lot of money! for one bra, even for a great bra!
I have a hard time paying 45$ at Victoria's for a good bra!
there would have to be a lot of advertisement for this bra, before I got myself into that. I think that is the only way women would be interested.
If I told my friends that I was holding a bra party and that it cost 60$ they would tell me I was crazy!
Reply:If you have DD or DDD then YES, I, and many women I know would pay more than that. I don't know about hosting a bra party though...
