Why do Blue Collar Americans think Gas Prices are high; but Conservatives see it as a business opportunity ???

In this hightened economy Oil is good for business the higher the better.

Why do people cry because gas has gone up 300% What is that maybe $1200.00 more a month ... Peanuts. That's just a little more the the cost of delivery of the Wall St Journal to your home, office, and your weekend house.

Why do Blue Collar Americans think Gas Prices are high; but Conservatives see it as a business opportunity ???
I think you mean the elitist Liberals See it as a political game, and business oppertunity blue collar workers (conservative) are demanding a change they are demanding more Production here at home. The elitis Liberals Are blocking more production with bans, and legal red tape so their groups on Global warming and carbon credits get more money they are forcing alternitive fules that are no where near being ready are making money because of this you might want to rethink You so called Question/Statment
Reply:Obama would have preferred a gradual adjustment of gas prices.

With a thousand small cuts one can still bleed to death. Gradual or sudden, this conservative doesn't think higher oil prices are better but rather inflationary and therefore very very bad.
Reply:$1200/mo? How much gasoline do you use? I only spend $60/mo now with current prices. Most Conservatives don't see it as a business opportunity as a matter of fact I would stay away from oil as an investment right now as it is overpriced. Also if you rely on gas for the delivery of your goods and services then people will have to pay more for those and less of that will go into your pocket..
Reply:Do you know what it means to be a Conservative? Or are you just one of the sheep led around by the media?

8%, is what oil companies profit on whole, our government gets 15%.....so who wants high prices?

Consevatives want lower taxes. Strong bussisness that drive the economey. Strong ecomeny =more jobs and more tax revenues, less people depending on the state or feds for money.

Ask Harry Reid, Nancy Polisi why we can't get the oil in Anwr or build additional refinieries, nuculear plants?....all of which make us more energy independent and create jobs.
Reply:Take a math class! $1200 a month more??

The cost for me to fill up has gone up $25 a week. So that is $1300 a year. Only a truck driver might be in the range of $1200 a month but I even doubt that!!

Gas prices are high but we have to get used to it because they are going to stay high
Reply:Working people are affected by high gas prices. The money the Shieks in the Middle East make from selling oil to the world gets recycled back to Wall Street due to what some call the Dollar Hegemony. More money to Wall Street equal more business opputurnities; at least for the rich.
Reply:Cite an example to back up your post. I am a"blue collar" worker and a Conservative, I also feel gas prices are high and yet I have invested some of my retirement funds in Oil Stocks. It's called making the best of a bad situation. I wonder why it seems you have a problem with making money.
Reply:Conservatives do not see it as a business opportunity. I don't know where you are getting that from.

Conservatives see high oil prices as another tax on the American consumer. We pay more but get nothing for it. Just like a gov't tax.
Reply:I am a far right Traditional Conservative and I do not agree with anything you say.

Hey, leftist, how come congress won't let us drill for more oil, build a Nuclear plant for power or construct more refineries?
Reply:More money in your pocket leaves you fewer worries at the pump. Less money in your pocket means more worries at the pump. As for bizness, bizness is bizness.
Reply:Future tip for liberal morons.

The Majority of Conservatives are Blue Collar Americans. Why do think they have a reputation for being crazy gun toating rednecks?
Reply:I know there's a message in your rant somewhere, but I can't find a logical sentiment.
Reply:Conservatives in geneal believe the prices are way too high! So where are your facts, ding-dong?
Reply:Blue collar conservatives DON'T.
Reply:Dems want handouts ... not business opportunities.
Reply:Dude... It's non even noon... and you are already baked!

You should slow down... maybe consider getting a job.
Reply:I hope you don't represent the Right in public, only on YA!
Reply:Huh?
Reply:Can't afford the ..........woll street joural. Wat kinda book is that anyhoo?
